Stoneyglen Miniature Horses

I am a mum to Ethan 3 and Clara 20 months - We live in lisburn but i'm from Dromara and my husband is from a farming background from dundrod. I have loved horses all my life. im hoping my little girl will love them just as much as i do and Ethan to i hope.  I owned my own pony when i was 13 and done pony club for a while.  Then moved onto horses, then i went to England to study so ended up selling my mare - So had a break for a good few years then got married. Still had the horsey bug so bought a lovely mare called Chloe, i think i bought her out of pitty - she was the first horse i went to view and try, she was so lovely and gentle but wasn't in great condition so i just said there and then i would take her.  I spent alot of money and time getting her feet sorted out - Her feet where in poor condition. My husband isn't into horses and thinks i was mad buying her, i probabley was cause i spent more time getting her feet sorted than what we did riding.  But we got there in the end and we had fun together bit of hacking and done a bit of riding club. We think she was older than what we where told so riding club she wasnt really fussed on she enjoyed hacking more so thats what we done.  Then i had Ethan, chloe was still about and i had full intention of riding again but then had Clara.  I went back to work and time for chloe seemed to disappear. I could see she was bored and lonely, so with a very heavy heart i put her up for sale, I sold her a year ago and it still breaks my heart thinking about it. She was the most wonderful and friendly mare. The day she left i broke my heart. I did keep in touch with the girl who bought her but i recently found out she sold her on cause she wanted to do more than hacking and pleasure rides now. So sadly  i have lost contact with chloe but i think about her alot and hope that she is happy.

Your website is great i love the miniatures, i keep telling my husband in the near future Clara will have to spend time with her own wee pony friend, and maybe Granda will let her keep it up at the farm.
